Glen Brooks has been involved in the Precision Sheet Metal Industry since he graduated high school in 1998. He began his career in the industry as a general labourer. During the ensuing years, his ability to grasp sheet metal concepts and manufacturing methods resulted in him being trained in the many varied disciplines that are required to produce precision sheet metal components. Glen acquired hands on working knowledge of shears, punch presses, brake presses, hardware insertion machines, finishing equipment, powder coating and plating procedures. His commitment to self improvement, which included various business management courses and obtaining a designation as a Certified Solid Works Professional, gave him the opportunity to apply his cumulative skills in an engineering and design role. In 2007 Glen was assigned design and engineering duties at Allied Metal Ltd. and continued in this role until early 2010 when he was appointed General Manager. During this time Glen managed all aspects of the business’s operations, including quoting and costing procedures, purchasing, invoicing and finance. In January of 2018, Glen was appointed Managing Partner of Allied Metal Ltd.
Glen has built his career from the ground up, and it is with this drive and passion, that he will continue to move Allied Metal Ltd. forward as one of the premier sheet metal fabrication companies in Western Canada. His knowledge of sheet metal fabrication from hands on perspective, and his acquired design expertise, gives him the ability to arrive at the best possible customer solutions in regards to design, quality, and cost effectiveness.
Kevin Steinhauer has been involved in the Precision Sheet Metal Industry since 1992. He began his career in the industry as a Plasma Table operator and displayed an aptitude for the many processes involved with sheet metal manufacturing. He was subsequently trained in and garnered first hand working knowledge with shears, brake presses, roll forming, spinning, punch presses, hardware insertion machinery, welding procedures and finishing equipment. Kevin has also been involved in specialty automated machinery design and construction. In 2001 Kevin obtained a Certificate of Training with SMP/IS NC software and transitioned into NC programming for turret punches and CNC brake presses. In 2004 he was assigned shop foreman duties at Allied Metal Inc. which included the overseeing of shop employees, scheduling of work and purchasing. In March of 2010 Kevin was appointed Production Manager of Allied Metal Ltd. in recognition of his continued drive to move Allied Metal to the forefront of sheet metal fabrication in Western Canada.
